Individual chocolate cheesecake

I was craving sweets tonight and came up with this recipe.
It's delicious and it satisfied my sweet tooth legally!

1 ounce cream cheese
1 tablespoon sour cream
1 teaspoon Splenda
1 teaspoon Hershey's unsweetened cocoa powder
1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract

microwave for 30 seconds

Did you eat it warm, or did you refrigerate it?

Hi MayLisa :)

I forgot to add:

Mix well
Refrigerate until firm, or if you can't wait, eat it warm!

I tried it today and it was delicious. I ate it cold. Thanks!

this looks really good, thanks! i need to get back on the band wagon, and behave myself. since going off of glucophage, my appetite is coming back with a vengence!!
i tried the cheesecake in the recipe section of this site, with the chocolate ganache topping and it was awesome!! i only added about half of the splenda called for.
take care,

Be sure to post how ya like it. I am pondering buying some stevia to try and make this.

nikkil Tue, Feb-04-03 07:13

FYI: I heard that Stevia tastes :Puke: , in case you haven't tried it!! (alcohol taste is too strong).

Oh gosh! Thanks for saving me all that trouble and money. UCK! I saw it at the sugar free store but hadn't ever tried it.

I use a powdered stevia/chicolin blend and it is wonderful. I don't like the aftertaste of splenda and it makes me crave sugar.

There are lots of types of stevia. I prefer the powdered blend over the liquid form because the liquid is harder to control. I was never a fan of the liquid, in fact. There are also alcohol-free forms of liquid stevia. Stevia is also one of those products where less is better because it can turn bitter if too much is used.

Wanda, thanks so much for your information. Where do u get this product blend that you are discussing?

wcollier Tue, Feb-04-03 13:38

Hi Nicksmom:

I wrote a little blurb about stevia on the following link, which includes my brand and info. It's a Canadian product so I'm not sure what the equivalent product would be in the US.

I'm not sure of your reasons for using stevia, but if you really want to give it a fair shake it may take some trial and error. Before buying it, I would probably ask to sample a bit of it. Not sure if they'll think you are crazy, but it's worth asking. ;) I believe that the powder blend is superior, but you have to watch out for the filler (all explained in the link below).

If you get some, let me know how it turns out.
