Practically in tears...but they're happy tears
 

Hi, all...I thought I should start posting here instead of the "Newbie Questions" board b/c I'm not quite so new anymore, and not all of my posts are questions. :lol:

I had a very magical moment this morning. For kicks, I got out my size-12 black pants.

Quick background: I got these pants before I gained weight post-partum (lost after the baby but then gained quite a bit in the following months), plus a few other pairs of pants. I haven't been able to get into any of these since about February of this year. I have been wearing just 3 pairs of pants over & over: size-"10" jeans which were obviously mislabeled; and two pairs of maternity pants. How shameful, but that's what I have been wearing. The maternity pants don't have pouches in the front, so you can't tell they're maternity wear. They're cute boot-cut pants but they do have elastic back-waists and I've just been wearing long shirts over them.

Well, so, FF to this morning...I put on the pants...AND THEY FIT. Oh my gosh, they fit. A little tight in the waist (arghhhh) but not too tight to wear. And a little LOOSE in the caboose.

I almost cried...I was so overwhelmed with wonder...I am so thankful.

Just wanted to share that.

That's a great feeling. I've been pulling stuff out of the closet (hiding back in shadows!) and they are fitting again. It is so exciting to wear them again.
