trail mix?

Is trail mix a no-no?
How about yogurt-covered raisins?
I was thinking that when i'm out with friends to say, a movie, while they are all pigging out on popcorn and pop and candy, i could treat myself to yougurt covered raisins so as not to be tempted to have some their candy....

Raisins have way too much sugar and so does the yoghurt coating. Strawberries or raspberries with whipped cream would be a much better choice. Have you been to http://www.fitday.com ? You can find out carb counts on just about any food. There's also a list (Carb Counter) in the low carb tools on the orange bar on the top of the screen.

whipped cream?

does whipped cream not have sugar?

Luxy, LC is all about eating fat without fear. I am not sure about Somers approach to LC and food combining, but most of us (atkins, PP etc) use whipped cream liberally. It has 6.6 carbs per cup, .6 per tablespoon. Real whipped cream does not have sugar added (although you may add some artificial sweetener if you need it)
