Hi everyone

Hello all im Steve from the UK and I decided to join because the support you guys seem to give each other looks like it really helps with the sometimes discouraged feelings we all get, and I could do with some support.

ive done the atkins diet intro about 4 months ago and lost 10lbs which i was more than happy with, but now unfortunatly I have put it all back on and them some im currently at 15stone (210 lbs i think) and my target goal is 175lb or 12.5stone. i started back on the diet a few days ago and have lost 5lb already but i have started going to the gym too so this must help.

Just out of curiosity, how much could I realisticly lose in 2 weeks if im at the gym everyday while on the diet, is it a good idea to do that much as i usually do 3 days of weights (mon, wed, fri) and 5 days of cardio mixed in with the weight training.

thanks everyone and I look forward to future posts

Welcome Spike,

Good luck to you and this forum is a great place for support and motivation. flutter

Hi Steve, the very general rule of thumb seems to be that you can expect to lose 10% of the weight you need to lose during induction, but it varies for different people!

Now that you're back on LC STICK TO IT THIS TIME :)
