? About Fiber

Can anyone help me with a question about fiber? I started taking a fiber supplement today, and have a question about it. The label says a serving contains 3g total carbs- dietary fiber 3g, soluble fiber 2g. It's psyllium husk. So my question is do I count this fiber in my carb calculations and totals for the day. I know the net carb method usually doesn't include fiber, so is it safe to exclude the entire 3g? What difference does the soluble fiber vs dietary fiber make? I really appreciate any help with this.
God Bless,
Amy-Lynne

if you subtract fiber...

.... then you can subtract it all.

From what I understand (and I could be wrong), the soluble fiber is "water soluble"...nothing to do with insulin.
