Splenda Reminder

"Dear ****,

Thank you for visiting the SPLENDA (R) No Calorie Sweetener website. We hope you became more familiar with SPLENDA (R) No Calorie Sweetener during your visit to the site.

Although we do not have any plans at this time to extend our product line to include a liquid version of SPLENDA (R) No Calorie Sweetener, we are always exploring potential line extensions. We are aware of the low-carb consumer base that is interested in having a liquid version of SPLENDA (R) No Calorie
Sweetener available in the United States and as we plan for the future we will take this into consideration.

We hope this information is helpful, however, if you would like to learn more, you are welcome to contact us again through e-mail or call a SPLENDA (R) No Calorie Sweetener representative at 1-800-777-5363.

Since when was Splenda no calorie????

It has calories, and carbs. That's mightly misleading advertising IMO

Hey - at least they admitted they're aware of us. :)

I thought Splenda had no calories, just 1g carbs in the powder form.

carbs have calories. :)

4cal per 1g carb

Liquid Splenda has no carbs. The powdered version contains fillers to make it look more like sugar and this is where the carbs come from.

and at the moment there are no plans to release liquid splenda .. as the original message states.

therefore it is highly misleading of the company which manufactures splenda and only sells it in powdered form (retail anyway) to state that it is no-calorie.

Thank you for posting that, Sox...

I didn't see that on the Splenda site. I hope they do something about it. I know for a big company it's all about the bottom dollar. Will it be profitable? I'm sure us low-carbers will be their main market...

abbey - I used to purchase liquid Splenda quite awhile ago from an online low carb market. The label said 0 calories, 0 carbs. :)
