Really tired in morning...

Ive been doing Atkins for about 5 weeks and am planning to leave Induction on Oct. 1 (6 full weeks).

My question (or observation) is that while I have experiences a great renewal of energy throghout the day - no midafternoon burn out - I feel extraordinary fatigue in the morning. I noticed it about 3 weeks ago.

I let it pass thinking that it might be effects of TOM and have been making sure that I am going to bed earlier. I used to be a night owl and it seems this WOL really balances out your sleep patterns. So I am getting enough sleep (7-8 hours).

Im wondering if this could be a dietary issue or is my body just adjusting to getting more sleep and sleeping very deeply, which was not the case prior to doing Atkins? The fatigue disapears after about 2 hours, but man is it extra hard to WAKE UP in the mornings! (Im still on decaf but the past few weeks have been hard because of being so tired in morning)

Has anyone else experienced this?

Others have experienced similar problems, 9 times out of 10 it is because they are not taking supplements. A good multi-vitamin will do wonders for your energy!

Talon - Ohhhh, gosh. I didnt even think about that!

And you know, I was taking a suppliment (Not Atkins) but a good suppliment I have been taking for years. About 4 weeks ago I ran out and have forgotten to get my refill. You know, I totally bet thats it! Duh!

Ill pick up some more and see how I feel after a week of taking them again. *Sigh* Okay, I feel much better now :p
