What kind of oil do you cook with?

I use extra virgin first pressed olive oil for salad dressing and a few hot dishes, I am curious about what other oils are good to use, I was using Canola expressly for cooking, but just read some things that made me change my mind about buying it anymore.
I did buy some peanut oil and used that yesterday and today in cooking.

I mostly use Canola oil for cooking, but last night I ran out and so fried up my chicken tacos in olive oil. Man, they were GREAT! I think I will start using olive oil more often! :p

I normally use canola oil for frying..if I saute veggies use a little olive oil with a bit of butter. This whole oil controversy is sooo complicated!

I use coconut oil for frying, and olive oil/flax oil for drizzling (ok, dousing) my salads.

I usually use olive oil OR butter for cooking. I love cooking pork chops in just plain butter... they taste great!

Extra virgin olive oil, butter, grapeseed oil, sesame oil.... if it's interesting looking/ sounding oil I'll buy it and try it :D

I use only expeller-pressed peanut oil, olive oil, butter, virgin coconut oil and beef or pork tallow (lard) for cooking and frying. No other man-made oil measures up, or is nearly as safe (I feel) for frying.

For deep frying, I use peanut oil, but only once. After it's been heated, I throw it out, due to damage caused by oxidation and heating.

Extra virgin olive oil, peanut oil and grapeseed oil for frying. I often add roasted sesame oil too, for seasoning (doesn't fry well though.) In baking etc mixes I add a little flaxseed oil as well (other ingredients mask the taste.)

Butter and more butter.

Where can I find Coconut oil? I have read a few posts that mention this type of oil, but I have yet to see it in the stores. I have come accross walnut oil, but don't know much about that one.
For Super bown Sunday I used peanut oil to fry the wings. It worked out pretty well. But the coconut oil is peaking my interest for sure.

I use half olive oil and half butter for sauteeing, and peanut oil for deep-frying.

I'm thinking about buying some coconut oil, but I'm not sure what I'd use it on.

coconut oil is actually solid. It is sold in Jars or Bottles and if you can't find it at your local supermarket, try any asian, bangladeshi or turkish/middle eastern shop. They normally have it in.

I use olive oil and/or butter. Looking into getting coconut oil for frying.

I have actually been wondering what oil to use myself. I cut out canola oil and I am now concerned about peanut oil because of the aflatoxins in it.

I use sesame oil and olive oil but those have very distinct flavors. I also love the flavor of coconut oil but I am not sure it will work with everything.

I will probably just start using more butter and less oils anyway. Not really sure what I would use for deep frying now.
