stupid burger!!!!!

hi guys,

i made a burger yesterday and i'am up 2 pounds.....same as last week when i ate the same thing. I thought it was the bread, so yester day i used 3 sliced bread, instead of the carby burger roll, with 2 burger patti. If it's not the bread then it's the patti...and i can't understand why...it has salt, species, textured soy flour, dextrose,beef.....the package said NO MSG!!!. After losing 4 pounds eating chocolates,& icecream, dextrose should not be a problem.I usually do well with a little bread.
oh well!!!!
i ate less today,it's cad working or just disappointment at the scale?.....i thought of icecream whole day and when it came down to having it i said to my self "i'll have that tomorrow". Normally i'd eat the whole thing thinking....i gained anyway, i'll start a diet tomorrow!!! TO THINK THIN!!!!

I would keep an eye on it, especially since the same thing happened last time. Dextrose is sugar. And I am suspicious of the textured soy flour. But really it's probably just sodium. Check the amount of sodium on the package. Many find when they eat processed food and that burger is definitely processed, that they gain weight due to water retention.

Many find the same when they eat at Pizza hut and it can take 3-4 days to let go.

You could probably identify if it is a problem with the burger or the bread if you eat the burger without the bread and still gain, then it's the burger. If you eat the bread with something else and gain, it could be the bread. I think you need to experiment. I'm thinking you could have a problem with the sodium, like Zule said. And, can't spices include MSG without the package actually saying so? I ate Chinese food last week and it triggered hunger cravings shortly after. I'm sure it was from the MSG.
