Bella Vita Pasta - Where to Buy
Hello,
I saw a post on Bella Vita pasta and they said it was EXCELLENT!! I was interested in picking some up but I don't live near a Trader Joe's. Does anyone know where this is sold. I went to the website but they want almost $6.00 to ship the stuff. That would make the pasta almost $10. That's expensive. Thanks, Tammy |
Maybe you could just ask one of your local food stores to order some. I find that when I openly discuss being on Atkins or low carb diet, so many tell me about people they know or they, themselves are also on the diet. Many people would buy a low carb pasta if they knew it existed, I'm sure. Aren't Food store managers supposed to cater to customer needs?

I went to Trader Joes today. I found a large stack of them, same as "O' So Lo" buns. Both items seem to be selling in large quantities now. They taste very good when you add a good tasting pasta sauce.
I think they are worth paying the shipping fees. Driving to a store and back could cost no less any way. |
This post prompted me to see if maybe, just maybe there was a Trader Joe's near me, and what luck! Only 37 or so miles away!!!! (to some 37 miles is a long way but not out here in the country where its atleast 12 to get to "town" LOL) I am so begging my husband to take me this week LOL.. Maybe even tomarrow!!!! Thanks yall!! :)

Oh and hi Tammy! I just noticed your from RI (my place of birth and where I lived for most of my life LOL).. If the local grocery stores wont order it too, maybe try an independant health food store.. There is prolly quite a few out there in RI (we Im sure both know how RI is--lots of different kinds of things/people all in one tiny place!) Hehe just a thought!

I found Bella Vita pasta at Meijer's for under $3 per 11 oz. package.
|
This pasta has made me gain alot of water weight. They taste very good but this is not without a price! All lo carb breads do the same to me including the "O so lo" buns.

I couldn't find it there. Can you tell me which aisle? with the regular pasta? |
Find the "diet" section where they carry the lc syrups, Adkins Advantage bars, diabetic foods, etc. It's right there on the shelf with the rest of the goodies. They have the La Tortilla lc tortillas- all 3 flavors too. Good luck!

ChristaS, I assumed you went to teh one in Maumee. They don't have any pasta or tortillas. :(
I wish you had 20 posts so we could PM |
Actually, it will take you 25 posts before the PM function kicks in the next day. Get those fingers busy and use up the calories!

The Meijer's on W Central in Sylvania has the pasta. So does the new Churchill's that just opened on Briarfield in Maumee off of Dussel. It's cheaper at Meijer's though. I guess I better get busy posting! :) |
