Back on Adkins for second time

New again, or rather, I did this about a year and a half ago: felt great, lost weight, but fell off back to carbs. I realize now after reading lots your postings, that this has to be a way of life, so here I am, into second week of induction!

Back on Atkins for second time

I am new to this board and just started Atkins Monday. I wanted to ask you what happened, and wanted to know if you gained any of the weight back when you fell off?

Ditto on the second time around!

I was on Atkins a year ago. I ate string cheese, bacon and lots of cheeseburgers with lettuce as the buns! I lost the weight I wanted to and went right back to my old way of eating!

Presto chango - weight all came back!

This time I am REALLY doing Atkins and changing my lifestyle AND the way I eat! I am loosing a few pounds every week. I am exercising everyday. I feel great and the foods are wonderful.

Learning a whole new way to cook has been fun! You can get as creative as you want! Best of luck to you!!

Welcome back...and good for you...hope it is painless...and all goes well.
Don't be a stranger...come by for visits...

Chocalita,
I think it is a given that if you fall off the low carb wagon, and resume eating as before, that you will gain weight back...
I see you are very new...go and start a journal, that way when you have questions, people can come straight to you to answer them...and you should also feel free to visit other peoples journals.
That is how we all stay in touch and support one another.
Take care...and do start your own journal...you will love it.
