Help-can i burn excess carbs?
i know that there is a strict count on carbs during induction, but i have a question anyway. i know the best way is to stick to it, but if you can burn excess calories on a low cal diet if you screw up, why can't you burn excess carbs if you screw up? i ate something that had a sauce on it and want, to be on the safe side, do extra cardio to use up the carbs. i know about an hour of jogging will burn 400-600 calories, but does anyone know how man carbs it uses up. youd be a huge help. thanks.

Welcome aboard Spirit :)
Low-carbing does not work in the same way as low-fat and low-calorie diets. It is based on controlling your insulin levels by reducing sugar and carb intake. Once you take your system off-balance through high-carbs, reducing calorie won't get you back in balance, it's only through getting back into low-carbing again, and it may take time to do so, up to a week depending on your metabolism..
