Bacon-Wrapped Stuffed Jalapenos
 

Another recipe from Chef Jill Grube:

2 lbs. Italian sausage(mild)
2(8oz) pkgs. cream cheese
1 (10 oz.) package chopped spinach
2 TBs. garlic powder
10 slices of bacon
10 fresh jalapenos cleaned & seeded

Cook sausange until done. Add cream cheese, mix well until melted evenly. Add spinach and mix well. Mix in garlic powder. Stuff jalapenos, wrap in bacon and bake in 350 oven for 10 mins. or until bacon is cooked to desired liking.
Serves 10. 5.8 g. carb. 1.9 g. fiber.
Kinda high in carbs for ONE, but with 2lbs of sausage they must really be stuffed to the max!

I had the greatest thing yesturday..
It was a hot banana pepper sliced open and stuffed with Chawawa(spelling) cheese then grilled...
they weren't too hot either...
Just super yummy
