Breads and pastas
My family has been doing CAD, but as my family get's down to reasonable weights I'd like to start to switch over to Sugar Busters but am running into problems on these two questions.
I've had no luck finding "whole wheat" pastas, as Sugar Busters talk about. Where do you get these and who makes them? Also, are they really expensive? In addition, what types of breads do you eat on Sugar Busters? It seems every label I read has some kind of refined wheat in it and I'm not having any luck finding a bread that complies to what Sugar Busters requires. Help? Jeannie |
Try Safeway
Hi Jeannie-
Congrats on your pregnancy. I found some stoneground wheat bread at Safeway. It is Safeway Select Organic Stoneground Whole Wheat. 1 slice has: 19g carbs 3g fiber 2g sugars 4g protein I also saw whole wheat pasta there, but I didn't get any, so I can't tell ya about it. However, most Whole Foods/organic type stores would have it as well. Kelly |
Try the health food store...Ezekiel Breads are legal and so are the Mill Whole Wheat Products...
