Welcome back! :yay:
My motivation is my health, I am young (in my mid 30s) with a scheduled knee replacement (May) and borderline adult onset diabetes. To add to health mix I have rheumatoid arthritis and a bunch of related disorders which make me quite a medical nightmare. If I can't get this to work for me I will become diabetic and my replaced knee will not last. It is likely my other knee will need replacing and my hips will follow. This WOL will improve my life and take the stain off my poor tired body and with any luck make my orthopeadic surgeon find another way to pay for his kids to go to college!
On the bright side -I've never bought anything in a regular size store and I can't wait to go in a mall and buy off the rack and not in a full figure store. A flyer/ad came through the mail the other day for one of the Full Figure shops in the area and I chucked it out with glee as I won't need to shop there when I'm ready to buy new stuff!!
Find yourself something as a bribe to keep you on track - give yourself a goal - even if it's just to stay the same.

At least you came back. That's the first step. Some days I lose motivation, too, but I have alot of obesity-related problems that I intend to shed and/or control. If health won't motivate you, aim for vanity. There's not a one of us that don't want to look good and feel good when we reach goal. Dig deep inside your self and list the reasons you want to lose weight. Write them down and refer to them when motivation wanes.

Bigted, please keep us posted on how you do with your health.

Like Bigted, my health keeps me motivated. I am hypoglycemic and I didn't need any test to tell me any differently. I used to get migraines on a regular basis. I have not had one full blown migraine since I have been lcing,. I have not had the shakes or nausea that occur right after eating a carby meal. I enjoy eating without fearing that I might get somewhere and need food right away. I do not overeat. I worked damn hard to lose these 26 lbs and I don't want to screw it up!! These forums are also good motivators.

My motivation is also my health. I go off this diet and my blood pressure goes up, I become bitchy ,depressed, anxiety attacks will start, my migranes will start up again and I am sure my blood sugars go sky high also. So I don't have a choice, I am here for life where I feel happy and life is worth living.:dazzle:
I come here to help keep me motivated everyday usually twice a day and just read the posts. The days I stray away from here are the days my diet strays too.
