so darn frusterated!!!!

I have been low carbing (Atkins) since March 28th. I am soo frusterated because before I started I couldn't even button size 14 jeans. Now, I can button them but they are tight!! I thought after almost a month, I would have been able to put them on. For all the old time low carbers, am I trying to push it too fast? I thought low carbing was a fast way to lose weight!! Sometimes I think that I will never ever be able to lose weight. Sorry for the negativity. Just got home from Macy's and tried on clothes. So frustrating. Any advice?

Kat

Hi Kat,

You've lost 12lbs so far and now at least you can button up those jeans so I reackon you are making good progress.

Slow down a bit. It takes time - I'll bet it took you a long time to get overweight in the first place and now you've reversed this - so be happy!

Low carbing is not a fast way to lose weight for everyone - but it is the best way to get it off and keep it off for most.

Chillout, you are losing weight and it will continue - think long term - this is not a quick fix diet - it is a way of eating healthier and being slimmer for the rest of your life.

thanks

Thanks Robert for your advise. I had just come home from the mall and felt like a whale compared to everyone at the mall, plus it is my TOM, so feeling kinda blue. Thanks and I will chill out.

HI again Kat,

If it is your TOM you will be retaining water so you will appear to be heavier than you are. After TOM you will lose the water and with luck even more weight with it!

Good luck

Robert
