Countdown to summer exercise challenge
 
ok...so summer is right around the corner and we all need to up our exercise huh? in order to help make everyone accountable for their workouts lets just try to come in and post when we do our workouts and what we did... ok? i am following a specific BFL plan so i know what exercises i need to do everyday, but i think its ok whatever exercise you choose....as long as you move at least 20 minutes!!! ok??

ok to start out i did my workout this morning!! upper body and i feel great!

Yay!! Thanks so much Pammie for starting this :) I will check in later AFTER I finish my workout, to let you know what I accomplished. Hopefully this challenge will be just the push I need to get out there & start moving again :D

I want to include my goals for this challenge. This summer I want to be completely sexified :lol: I want to be able to wear my first sleeveless top in public, and I want to wear shorts in public instead of dying in the heat because I am to ashamed of my legs. I will make my goals ;)

HI Pammie,

I am sooo glad that you started this, I need a little push, and I feel that this is the year to change myself.

Today, I did the 3 mile WAPFA, it is a 45 minute aerobic workout with a resistance band that fits around your waist, so your waist is working out all the time.

i have a goal of losing 50 lbs this year, lets hope I do it.

OK I'm in.

I'm in the April Exercise Challenge but being only for April I need something past this month to keep me going.

Here's how I'll post. I'm doing 3 days a week of my video and 2 days a week on my stepper. No less than 20 minutes.

Today is Wed the 14th so I'll keep track with dates like this:

4/14/04: 30 min video & 10 min stepper
4/15/04:
4/16/04

I'll keep adding dates like this to keep track and just copy and paste so it shoes all the days I've done from today till summer.

I think if we all do this and copy and paste our own dates than we can keep track better.

GREAT idea lily!! thanks!! ok so from now on everyone should start there own little chart to copy and paste each time they work out...stating the date....and what they did!! sooooo since we are starting today heres my very first list!!

4/14: upper body workout ( see gym log for details)


whohoooo i am so excited about this challenge!! we can do it!! TOGETHER!!

p.s. i also really like the idea of having a LONG list of exercises i have done leading up to summer!! talk about something to motivate you through summer!! whohoooooooooooo

Woooohoooo I'm in!!! And you guys being here "watching" what I do and don't do
totally motivates me!! But I gotta ask...if I don't do at least 4-5 days a week, give
me a swift kick in my booty.....K?????? I'm also in the TDC 5th Exercise Challenge, soooo that will be double accountance. But I know some of you here better, so it will be more fun. It's almost like we'll exercise together! Literally!(I'm such a goober, lol) Sometimes I'm good, sometimes I'm bad!!!!! LOL (that could be a good thing, lol) Here's my goals:

2 days of rest (probably Tuesday and Sunday, but I may mix it up depending on what
is going on)
3 days of cardio and abs (most likely WAP, RS, or step class)
2 day of strength training (I want to do more days of strength training, but I am going to work myself up to it or else I will burn out)

*There will be some days I do more, some days I will do less. All my exercise will probably be in the evening, because getting up at 4:30 a.m. was tooooo much. (in fact I think I got sick after that and it took awhile to get over it)

I will post again later this evening after I have done my exercise. Until later!

I would love to join. I am stuck in Chicago at a hotel for 8 weeks, but fortunately I get to come home on the weekends. What this means is that I will overeat and not do my workouts. so I need to motivation. For some reason, I got up early this am and did my upper body and cardio so I can add that.
04/14 - upper body/aerobic - 45 min

Hi everyone - count me in on this challenge too. I also am on the april challenge, but heck, I love accountablity so challenges must be the forum for me, lol. I have only done 1/2 my workout today, so I will be back to post it when I am done. Looking forward to reading what everyone does!

YES!! I am so happy, I actually did a good workout, and feel great now. Oh yea!!

25 minutes on the Elliptical
upper arm workout with my weights
25 crunches

Ahhhhh, I had been so bad about working out, but I now feel SO freakin good right now. Yay!!! :D

Pammie - I 'm here - late but here!!!!! (it took me forever to go back in your journal and find the link - guess that don't count as exercise eh? ;) )

Ok my plan is to BFL type lifting and extra cardio!!!! My goal is to look better by May 18th when I go out west to visit my oldest son and see a whole gaggle of relatives that I've not seen for years.

Did lower body yesterday and today I plan to cardio cardio and more cardio!!!!
