Trouble Getting into Chat Room

I click on the chat room and it tells me I have to log in when I am already logged in. I log out and log in again and still can't get into the chat room. How do I do it, please.

I was told I had to enable cookies under 'edit options' on my profile (Correct terminology?) to access chat. See if this helps.
