Second wk. of induction done!!!

Just weighed myself, after the 2nd week of induction!
Total lost on 2wk. of induction......10 pounds:) WOW!!
I love this WOE, never hungry! ANd when my DH and I go
out to eat, there is never a problem either. Always can
eat cobb salad, grilled chicken salad, or a big fat
juicy steak!!! I need to get an exercise program going
so I can firm up the flab;). Hope all is well with everyone.
Keep going and never give up, it will happen. Debra

Way to go, Deb! :cheer:

The ten pounds is TERRIFIC -- and it's just as terrific that you've already adapted to this WOE and are finding it easy to do. Thanks for posting that.

I can relate to the eating out thing, but I also am finding that I am able to make great choices without felling bad.

Good Luck in your journey

Big congrats...and doesn't it feel great ?

I lost 10lb on induction and it is a big incentive to kep going.

Well done

WOW! You did fantastic - 17% of the way after Induction!

Don't be surprised to see that loss rate slow down or even plateau or rise slightly - your body has made a lot of changes in the last two weeks and it's going to have to take a break at some point and reorganize a few things. Those are all natural, healthy and amazingly frustrating. Just stay the course - you've already shown that you can and will succeed.

Keep the Faith!

Good Job Deb! You are an inspiration for other newcomers! Thanks for showing that it can be done! MM

The loss will probably slow, but it is an awesome feeling to weigh yourself and seeing the scale go down.

One side affect of Atkins is that it has made me a LOT less picky of an eater. For example, I only ate white meat chicken. Now, I like going out and getting a half chicken, and a salad. I actually like it. I also eat vegetables I never used to eat before, like Asparagus.

Before I went back on Atkins six weeks ago, I actually thought I would try a low fat diet. That lasted two days, it was awful. I was hungry, irritable, etc. Just thought I would try it out to reaffirm low carbing, and it worked. I can't imagine doing this any other way.

Thanks everyone for the support:) I do intend to stay on the WOE and not change, I realize there will be stalls, and possibly sm.wt gains; but I feel so great!!! ANd my dh is starting to say that I look better. What more do I need? Thanks again. Debra
