Changing meds...scared...down

Hi...Just curious to see more about those who use anti-depressants and how they have been for you. How your weight loss has been on them etc.
I just started taking Welbutrin about5 days ago. Am retaining water ssomething awlful. Quite honestly Paxil worked wonderfully for me. Why did I change meds you ask??? Well I had one side effect that has been
depressing to my hubby. Get the picture??? ;) I don't have THAT side effect anymore (wonders never cease) but I am feeling very bloated and today I am spacy andhaving trouble typing. (That happened to me on Lexapro. It was so bad that I only tried it a few days) I am spacey enough I don't need any med. to make it worse! hehe
I am also concerned that with my weight progressivly getting harder to control how on earth will I get through menopause without a ton of weight???

Any info, ideas, encouragement, ANYTHING would be sooooo appreciated!
Thanks in advance for any help.:)

Howdy we've running the same circuit again I see. I'm still on the lexapro but now they have added the Welbutrin back and it is working. At least your husband is up and running. They may add another drug to your Welbutrin but those sertionan up take drugs do seem to have that one side effect.

Titrate your dose

With your doctor's supervision, and only by adjusting the # of pills, not by splitting them.

If I take 11 pills a week, I'm fine. At 14 a week, I can't type and there is just a little too much of me in the world for my friends and neighbors to handle.

Could be you're coming on faster than your body can adjust to. Hope it works for you; I think it's a great product.
