Been looking over posts for awhile and thought it was time to join! I am a T2 diabetic since 1/03. Started on insulin and currently on glucophage and actos. Stopped insulin 8 weeks ago! Have been decreasing carbs for a while now but actively low carbing for about 8 weeks. Still working on getting fasting glucose down. Do not need to loose weight and actually am having a hard time keeping it on! Never thought I would say that. Lost about 16 pounds prior to diagnosis. Glad to be here and looking forward to any help!

Glad you found us! This way of eating can do wonders of us with blood sugar issues - high as well as low.
