new to low carb dieting

Hi everyone! I'm new so excuse me if I don't know all of the etiquette quite yet. I have just started low carb dieting, trying to stay under 50 grams of carbs per day. I have a 8 week old new baby (I have already checked with his pediatrician) and I am nursing him so I have to pay close attention to nutrition. I don't seem to be losing weight as quickly as I think I should be though. Thanks for your replies in advance.

You have just had a baby it is going to take time. Your body actually takes a year to go back to normal physicaly and hormaonally. WHen you breast feed your body tends to hold on to fat as it is good for the baby.ANd your baby needs it. So this process will take a little longer for you. But you will do it. And you and baby will be healthy. Happy low carbing and good luck with the new baby!!!!!!!!!!!
