need granola recipes

I just paid a LOT for some packaged LC granola (LC Success' Cinnamon Nutrageous flavor--it's REALLY good).

I've been scouring this forum for granola recipes. I ran across one that Karen posted in a "what's for breakfast" thread but I'm wondering if others have some granola recipes to try?

Thanks.

haven't tried yet

I can't remember which website I got this from so I can't give credit, and I haven't got around to trying it yet. If you try it post the results. I have a small amount of my expensive LCsuccess cherry nutrageous granola as a special treat once a week.

Low Carb Granola
2 cups All Bran with extra fibre
1 cup sliced almonds
1 cup pecan bits
1 cup pumpkin seeds
1 cup coconut pieces
1 1/2 cups unsweetened shredded coconut
cinnamon
splenda
about a half cup butter

spread it out in a large baking pan
pour melted butter over it
bake it at 350 for as long as it takes to get toasty and slightly dark
stir often (about every ten minutes to distribute the butter)
Remove from oven, let cool completely and store in jars

Thank you so much for the recipe. I will run it through my Master Cook software to get the nutritional analysis on it and will post it when I get it done.

Yes, the Cherry Nutrageous is quite a treat. I look forward to trying your recipe.

Others out there?

carb count and portion size?

What is the carb count and portion size for this cereal?
Also where do you get the cherry nutrageous cereal?
(I live in Canada)

ooops i forgot...

Has anyone tried it with milk like you would eat regular cereal?

LC granola

I usually eat it with a mixture of cream and water. If Keto ever starts shipping to Canada again I'll try it with some Keto milk. I usually just eat it in small quantities though. Not the way I used to eat a massive bowl of cereal. I live in Alberta so I don't know how you would get it in your part of Ontario. I know that I can find it at a local diabetic store and periodically at some healthfood stores so maybe try some places like that.
