7 day cheat free challenge
Welcome to the “7 day cheat free challenge”. Our goal is to do the very best we can do for 7 days, WE CAN DO ANYTHING FOR 1 WEEK! At the end of the week we will tally the total # of cheat free days for the week and ADD that # to our GRAND TOTAL of cheat free days. There will be NO MORE going back to day 1 because we had a little bump (or huge mountain) in the middle of our LCing road. We worked very hard for those days and deserve to keep and display them proudly.
The main objective of this challenge is to boost our morale and belief in ourselves. This is our opportunity to celebrate our victories, praise ourselves for making it 1 more day, because 1 more day brings us that much closer to our ultimate goal of being the healthiest we can be. The rules/guidelines are very simple:
An example of this challenge would be: Sunday: Post your Plan During the week: Post your day…both the good and the bad. Please remember to be nice to yourself, a little slip or even a huge binge doesn’t make you bad, useless, disgusting, lazy, weak or a failure. It makes you human! Saturday Post: I was cheat free for 4 days this week, what helped me this week is that I took bottled water and a healthy snack with me to run errands so I wouldn’t feel the need to stop for fast-food. Add me to the chart. (whatever you want to say, you get the idea) Month before total of 28 days Week 1: 7 days Week 2: 5 days Week 3: 6 days Week 4: 2 day Month total: 20 days Grand Total: 48 cheat free days At the end of every month (4 full weeks of Sunday – Saturday) we will have a little party  to celebrate our victories, whether it be 1 day or 28 days we should be very proud of our accomplishment. |
Thanks so much for starting this! I have been on a rocky road lately. I have a weakness for chocolate and at work they put a huge candy jar full of chocolate right by my desk. In the 2 weeks its been there I've gained 12 pounds. I may need you guys daily. If I can just get into ketosis I think I will be able to handle it. Trying very hard this weekend. Today I took my last antibiotic. Have been taking them for a month and have to eat lots of food twice a day to avoid getting sick.
I'm going out of town so here is my plan for the week: Sunday - Saturday 20carbs max each day bfl, may replace cardio with hiking -not sure there will be a gym where I'm going supplements: 2 potassium and Calcium/magnesium and a multivit everyday water: at least 2 liters pray everyday for help with my eating and stress |

My plan for the week is:

Hi Everybody glad to see you! I'll be praying the very best for a GREAT week for us all!
Ok here's my plan.............. * To stay below 25 carbs daily * No high carb foods (sugar, flour, potatoes & etc..) * Drink more water each day * Limit myself to 4 cups of coffee daily |
Hi guys! I hope I can join in a day late. Yesturday I messed up and ate Chinease food and tons of bread. I feel very guilty about it now, but am willing to not give up (I gained three pounds for my mistake though). I am starting my seven day cheat free challenge today (Sunday)
My goals: - Stay at or below 15 carbs a day - Try to eat five-six mini meals a day - Go to the gym three-four times this week - Excersize at home daily - No sampling candy at work! I think I'll be able to do this, no problem. |
Welcome Akasha
Hi Akasha, glad to have you with us. You're not late, today (Sunday) is the first day, so you are right on time. Your gain is probably due to the large amount of salt from the Chinese food and should go back down rather quickly once your body gets back on track. I am a little concerned about the low # of carbs you are trying to stick with, Atkin's induction level is 20 carbs, so you may want to increase your carb count to that or your body may go into starvation mode and make it difficult for you to lose.
Good luck this week and remember to be nice to yourself. Mims :rose: |
Hi suzzee, good to see you!
|
I figured as long as I ate plently of fat and calories that my body wouldn't go into starvation mode. I only plan to do 15 carbs for a couple weeks, then move up to 20-25 a day. I'm just trying to get off another 10 pounds quickly before I slow down. I'll try it for a week and see what happens, kk? :)

Sounds good, keep us posted on how it goes.

Yay! I went my first day completely cheat free. At work I was surrounded by nothing but sandwhiches, burgers, and candy, and I was even offered some Mint candy... but I resisted and only got a salad and some tuna. I feel great about it (even though I wanted to soooo bad at the time). I'm in a great mood now, and I think I will go do some excersizing... then to bed and up again in the morning to go to the gym! :)

:cheer: Akasha, you go girl :cheer:
I've done pretty good so far, you all would have been laughing at me scaping the gravy off of my steak so I could eat it. Evenings are usually my worst, I always go overboard on the SF snacks at night, it's still LC but way too many calories. Hope everyone else has a great first day. Mims :rose: |
All right, let's get this week started (I am late sorry :D )
I usually start my week on Monday not on Sunday. |
All times are GMT -6. The time now is 14:44. |
