Active Low-Carber Forums - Atkins work story!

Hi everyone,

I thought you would get a kick out of my work story. First a little background. I have been low carbing for 2 yrs but had never bought the atkins book. Just sort of guessed. I have lost alot of weight but had stalled and decided to finally buy the book and start from the begining INDUCTION. Well I have been on induction since sat and i feel better then i ever have before in my life. I almost feel high all the time. Anyway I am in sales I won't tell you what i sell, but I kicked everyones butt today. My bosses boss came over to me today and asked what my secret was so that she could pass it on to help other people do well. I told her that i started atkins on sat and had tons of energy felt great and I believe that is directly responsible for my great sales! She said " I can't tell everyone to go on atkins" and said "sure you can! Send out a memo. Everyone who wishes to have more energy, feel great and make more sales must start the atkins WOE" She laughed it off and walked away. Then my direct boss who is a vegitarian asked me what was doing, and I told her. She said "I'm not going to tell everyone to start eating nothing but cow flesh, and I said "you don't have to. You can tell then they can eat turkey flesh,and pig flesh ,and chicken flesh, and a whole lot of veggies." She looked at me like I was crazy and walked away. I got a kick out of this story and I thought you might too.
