Induction Poll....how many lbs lost?
Just wondering how many lbs on average, the Atkins folks out there have lost, in the induction phase alone.
Hoping to hear some wonderfully motivating stats! |
Today is my 14th day ... 8 lbs. lost. I lost 5 lbs. the first 3-4 days, and about 1 lb. every 3 days since. I'm very pleased.

I lost 8 the first 2 weeks. I have gained 5 back?!?!

30 lbs in the first 2 weeks.

Twelve pounds the first two weeks with Protein Power and fifty-nine since then. :spin:

16 pounds the first two weeks. (Atkins)
|
20 lbs. first two weeks.
Monday (10/1) will be 3 weeks - about 30 lbs. so far. I plan on staying on the induction diet for a while longer. (I notice, the more you have to lose, the faster it comes off in the beginning. :)) Hee hee...I'm liking that...makes me excited! |
I lost 15 on 14 days then a mean of 1.9#/week for 50 weeks for a total of 105 in 52 weeks

3 pounds in the first 2 weeks. I guess I'm just metabolically slow. :(

WOW!
...Now that IS motivating! :cheer:
really didn't realize the extent to which induction can "jump start" this wol! Did you all find it was "real weight...fat"? ...or perhaps more likely water weight? Do you all occasionally go back on induction...or remain in the continuing stages? I am very intrigued with this, and am still hoping (I know I shouldn't say this) that induction isn't dangerous. I read somewhere that the body requires carbs for brain and central nervous system function...kinda scary to mess with that...but boy oh boy love the weightloss results! ...already I've lost 3 lbs, day 6, and it's that TOM...so I'm hoping I'll drop more in the days to come. Thanks for the inspiration! Muse ...the newbie low carber |
Induction
I have lost 5 pounds since last Monday.....today is Sat. I'm pretty motivated too. It might be only water loss at first. It's a great start though :D
