Hi there!

I've been doing Atkins for about a month now. Great results, I thought, having lost 14 lbs.

I'm a 43 year old female, living in BC, Canada. I work in the social services field.

This diet was suggested by a specialist, and I've been asked to stay on induction till Jan 21st. till I see the doctor again.

Hello and welcome. :wave: Congrats on your success so far! :thup: You're lucky to have a specialist who knows what s/he is talking about. So many doctors refuse to read the literature and base their opinions more on the media than medical fact.

I'm over in Ontario, but there are quite a few BC folk on this board. Enjoy the forum and Merry Christmas! :)

(edit) Oh: BTW, I noticed your stats might need corrected. ;) They're usually in the form of:
(starting weight)/(current weight)/(goal weight)
...but yours says you have a goal weight higher than your current weight. ;)
