My name is Nikkii, and I moved to Melbourne, AU with my husband and daughers a little over one year ago... which is when I started stress-eating and gained 20 pounds. I'm desperate to get rid of this excess weight, and have done nothing but yo-yo on my own. So... I decided to do it the right way.

I enjoy the atkins diet. I think the book is very informative.

Good luck with Low carbing.
Don't be afraid to ask questions, there are heaps of very knowledgable people on this board, who are very generous and supportive.

Have a good look around the different subjects, there's tons of info here.

Oh, and definately start a Journal of your own, people will pop in and give you feedback, and It's a great way of keeping track of what your'e eating/drinking etc.

Hi there, welcome Nikkii. Where did you move from?

There are quite a lot of Australians on here now. Lets hope words gets out to the suppliers of low carb foods so they begin to distribute them here (for those that want low-carb versions of their old foods).

Hope this works well for you. Let us know if you need any help. Start a jounal too. It will help you to do so, and read through other peoples.
