Day 1
Morning: 1 mile walk

Wow, ain't that impressive. :lol: Right now I'm walking while I finish deciding what I want to do for my strength training. As I progress I plan to step up the length and pace of my walks until I am jogging. I own a Bowflex and it looks like I'm finally gonna start using it. :yay: Now I just need to decide between the BFL or Bowflex strength training program.

What is that they say about the longest journey starts with the first step. And I hope you don't wander around too long deciding which path to take ;) . Pick one, and do it for awhile and then if you get bored or aren't happy with what's happening, do something different. Welcome to the gym logs. :)

Yeah, I plan to decide before the weekend is up. It will probably come down to which book I find first. :) And if I don't find either I'll just start using the Bowflex to do something each day, until I find one of the books.

BFL Day 1

Upper Body Workout

Chest 9
Shoulders 9
Back 8
Triceps 8
Biceps 8

Still figuring out the right weights, so I didn't hit any 10's, but did hit some 9's. I'll adjust weights up for next time.

Cardio Workout

1 mile Walk/Jog 8

Today was my first workout after my first Free Day. I didn't really go overboard on the Free Day, but man did today start out badly. Just a ton of concerns and garbage seemed to be pushing on me, and I felt like maybe I'd skip working out today. I ended up pushing myself to go workout anyways, and it ended up making me feel a bit better. At least it's done and out of the way. :)

BFL Day 8

Lower Body Workout

Still no 10s today, but I'd say 9s on the weights and maybe 8 on abs. I'm still getting my ideal weights worked out.
