European Fitday Equivalent

I am wondering if there is any European fitday like program. The fitday I use now is pretty useless as everything is measured in cups etc. which are meaningless and difficult to calculate for us Europeans.

So does anyone know of any fitday alternative?

Why don't you try contacting Fitday and ask them. They may very well have a metric version under another web site address.

Just a thought......

The carb counter on this site starts food off at 100 grams. It can also be converted to cups. It won't add up everything for you like fitday, but if you want to know the carb count of something in particular you can find it under low carb tools on the orange bar at the top of the page.

One cup = 8 oz
One cup = 250 ml
1 oz = 30 grams
1 kilo = 2.2 lb
1 lb = 16 oz

using these equivalents, you should be able to figure it all out and use fitday. I haven't had a moment's trouble using it, and I don't live in the US either.

Scarlet, GOOD NEWS!!! Go to Fit Day and sign in. When you set up your age and weight information, it gies you the chance to select customary wieghts and measures, or metric. Problem solved. I just happened to notice it today.

Well, I've just joined fitday and to my horror I've still got all that cups rubbish - despite ticking the box marked metric. The 'metric' only applies to your personal weight. This type of thing does annoy me. Don't the Americans realise that the rest of the world operates on a different system - or don't they care.

Scarlet,
I use fitday... once you get used to it....is ok..... I just put all my usual foods & weights in as custom foods to save time. The sticky fit day How -Tos is useful

however you may like to try ? Welsh bear. ?? think thats right. You can get it from the Carblife UK site which you can find through any search engine. Or pm me and I'll send address ?

do a search there for WelshBear software. I havent tried it but I see many speak well of it.

edit.. ok , had a look but it was tricky to find today !
