Okay.. Finally decided to start a gym log.
My workouts for the week so far: Monday, 10/23-- 35 mins elliptical, on 'wtloss' wrkout-- 2 mins incline 8/intensity level 9 then switches to 2 mins incline 13/intensity level 9-- repeat for 30 mins, 5 min cool down. bicep and tricep curls, free weights, 8 lbs== 15 reps X2 Arm machines... (gotta write down the names.. I am so retarded):rolleyes: ----------------------------- Tuesday, 10/24-- 10 min walk, 25 min jog (outdoors), 5 min walk ----------------------------- |
Last night's workout, Wednesday, October 25th:
*bootcamp workout: 45 mins New people bought the local gym a few months back.. and the lady is doing some wonderful things with the gym..... she's been working on a routine for 6 months that works out EVERY muscle in the body--- she narrowed it down to a 45 minute.. kick arse workout that is incredible.... *The workout is a mixture of step aerobics, kickboxing, calisthentics, weight lifting with free weights.. full body cardio workout for 45 mins which she calls the 'bootcamp' workout... and let me tell ya...it is TOUGH!!! The teacher's new name is 'Drill Sargeant'!!:lol: I really believe this workout is exactly the change that my body needs to step things up.. so.. I plan to fit this in twice a week along with running and elliptical...and hope to see some significant results in about 3 months..... SO yes... a new picture is very needed now....:D |
Thursday, October 26th--
Treadmill: 7 mins fast walk, 18 mins jog: 1.8 mile Elliptical: 35 mins -------------------- |
Friday, Oct 27th- no exercise
----------------- Saturday morning, Oct 28th: 40 minute walk/jog-- felt SO good. ------------------- Sunday, Oct 29th- lots and lots of housework/yard work ------------------- Today, Monday Oct 30th- 35 minute elliptical workout |
Wednesday, Nov 1st:
35 mins elliptical, 15 minute jog Hope to get back to the 'bootcamp' workout next week. Tonight, Thursday, Nov 2nd: 30 min run (treadmill).. woohoo this felt good. 35 min elliptical. 20mins weights, abs, stretching |
Friday: no exercise
Saturday, Nov 4th: 35 minute jog (outdoors!!) felt incredible.:) |
Monday, Nov 6th--
40 min elliptical workout, 10 mins stretching.. (burned over 400 cals!!) Tuesday, Nov 7th--(Today) Bootcamp workout* (see 2nd post for details on this workout) |
I am looking forward to a good 30-40 minute run tonight.... bootcamp workout last night was awsome.. WOW its a hard-ass workout.. I love it.

no exercise Sunday, Nov 12th-- 45 mins walk/run-- 10 mins fast walk up hill, 20 min run, 15 minute walk uphill, stretching- beautiful outside this morning-- this Earth is simply amazing and I need to work hard every day to not take it for granted.... |
Monday, Nov 13--
15 minute treadmill walk, 45 minute *bootcamp workout |
Tuesday, Nov 14--
30 minute elliptical 17 minute jog A heck of a workout tonight! |
Wednesday, Nov 15th-
taken care of my baby-- no time to exercise Thursday, Nov 16th-- 45 minute *bootcamp workout.. still harder then hell.. I LIKE it! |
Friday, Nov 17th--
35 minute elliptical workout, 20 minute jog 10 minute cool down/stretching Sunday, Nov 19th-- 45 minute run, 5 minute cool down walk, 5 minutes stretching-- simply fabulous! |
Monday, Nov 20th--
35 minute elliptical... great workout. Tuesday, Nov 21st-- *45 minute bootcamp workout, 10 minutes stretching-- exceptionally difficult last night.. WHEW!! :) I Like It! |
