Hey Sharpy, welcome back.

Don't weigh yourself at night. It's too inaccurate. The best time is first thing in the morning.

Good luck...

Hi SHarpy! Yes Kristine is soooo right...I fluctuate 4-5 lbs between and AM and PM.

Hi - You're probably not doing anything wrong - except maybe weighing at night. We all get frustrated, but I think sometimes it is because of the mentality that goes something like this: I can't wait to lose all this weight so I can start eating normal again. As much as we all want to lose weight, if we don't do it right, mentally, physically and emotionally, it is almost an exercise in futility. Slow is good - slow will help us to adjust to the changes which hopefully will mean we can stop thinking of this is a diet to lose weight and start thinking of it as the way we should eat for the rest of our lives. That does not mean we won't have ups and downs - very few healthy weight people stay the same exact weight their whole lives. they go up and down by as many as 5-10 pounds and then they do something about it. That is my goal.

Good luck, don't give up. Look for the long term goal.

Don't worry girl, it's normal. Weigh only in the mornings, before breakfast and after you've used the bathroom. Naked or in just your undies.

Keep up the good work, and don't let a couple of pounds get you down. You're doing great.

Plus you have to allow 1-3lbs water weight fluctuation.

Don't Weigh at all!

If you really want to save yourself the heartache in the long run, make the tape measure your best friend. Most people find that they'll lose inches but not see a difference on the scales. Just use your ketostix as a sign of losing. As long as it's turning pink your burning fat. That's all that matters in the long run right?
