Guys, speak up!

How many guys are on this forum? LOT'S of women but the guys seem sparse! C'mon guys, don't make me be the oddball in here. Let me know you are out there!

the_foth Tue, Feb-11-03 21:23

hiya mobster...i'm a guy!
finding this diet working out not too bad. my wife is also doing it, but it's a bit of a stuggle for her even tho she's dedicated to it and sticking to it to the tee... but we do find it's easier for more than 1 person in a house to do the diet. hope all's working out 4 u! :)

cheers!

Hey dude! Just started this tonight. I flirted with it a few years ago, but couldnt stay away from Bread (see my post Bread...oh SWEET bread). Anyway, Im gonna make this work now!

the_foth Tue, Feb-11-03 21:34

good to hear! i never had any probs giving up bread, sweets, potatos, all the high carb foods. ill take protien any day. the biggest problem i've had is giving up milk! i drank lots and lots before and still crave it. that and a good bbq sauce fo marinate the steaks in!

Hi,

Another guy checking in. Been doing this for a month. Most of the time I love it. Sometimes I must admit I miss stopping at a fast food place on the way home instead of cooking. But that is a small price to pay for a healthy life.

Lonely Guys??

Hey, there are quite a few guys in the journals.

Just get out there and sample them, you will find a steady, and vociferous, group of guys. Donald from Chicago (drwolfe, I think) is one of the most supportive, knowledgable, and prolific posters on this whole site. Do yourself a favor and check out his journal in the Ds.

I have been on Atkins/Protein Power since September 23, 2002, and I plan to be on it for the remainder of my life.

Now, then, just to stir up a little hate and discontent among the guys and gals reading here, here is a list of the reasons why it is good to be a guy:

Yes, it's good to be a man......
