Why can't I send a private message

I am new to the boards and want to send a private message to someone who posted at my journal.

The administrator said either I wasn't allowed to or I am not yet activated. How long do I have to wait before I can post private messages????

Hi there,

You'll be able to send and receive private messages after you've made 25 posts. You can reply to whomever posted in your journal right there in your journal. :)
