New To Tdc

Glad to find the TDC,

I have recently start the low carb Atkins diet(Nov 11/03)about 2 months ago. I start at 350+ and I'm down to 331 and my goal is to reach 250 by Sept or Oct of this year. After reading all of the post that i could I decided tht I would give it a try too. Th e more support you have the better off you are. So good luck to everyone with their new life style change in 2004. THANKS

Thanks for all of the support already. I think this is going to be a very good year for everyone here. The more I think about the weight that I need to lose the more I want to keep it off for good. I tried the ATkins diet some years back and lost a good amount of weight (around 30#) but as all of us have done, I didin't think I had to make a life style change and I gain it all back plus some.So I am hoping that this time I will realize this is for good not some fly by night diet.

Welcome! Hope your weight continues to fly off you. It's a wise person who recognizes that maintaining a weight loss is a lifetime effort for most of us, particularly in the TDC. Congrats on your loss to date and good luck going forward.
