Happy New Year everyone!

I'm just starting my Low-carb eating plan today. I realize that this is not the place to "ask newbie questions", but I did want to say hello and let you know that you have another "member" here.

I'm 58 and live in Nevada.....Southern Nevada where it gets very hot and just a little cold.

Well, that's it for now........I have so many questions that I need to go to the other list.

Hi Janet, welcome. Is this one of your New Year's Resolutions?? Glad you found us.

Keep reading and you'll find lots of answers to your questions. You might like to read through the section on "Which low-carb plan is right for me" It's located on the right hand column of your screen, under the Quick Links Section.

Be sure to stop by the Kitchen Forum. We've started a new thread for Induction Ideas, so there might be something there that will help you also.

Thanks for your suggestion that I stop by the kitchen..I'll check it out! I'm finally on my way to Las Vegas (largest city near me) to check out the health food store I usually go to........buy a book or two and some other goodies to start.

You'll be hearing more from me. I also want to check out the Journal.......see what that's all about.
