spaghetti squash question

Hi,I was just wondering if spaghetti squash is considered relatively low carb.

Yes it is.

Spag squash

Just to expand a bit on Deirdre's comment: it's RELATIVELY (but not VERY) low carb. 1/2 cup of baked or boiled spag squash is 5 carbs, including 1 carb of fibre. That's a fairly small serving, in my opinion.

Having said that, I love the stuff and eat it occasionally. It's great as a rice substitute for curry and other 'stewy' things; really soaks up the gravy!

You're a vegetarian, right? Cooked soy beans have about the same amount of carbs as spag squash (about 9 carbs, of which about 5 are fibre). Beans an' squash, yum!
