Cool Low Carb finds in ladner B.C. bryer's ice cream!
 

I went to budget foods in ladner yesterday and they had some really good low carb stuff. They have a atkins section with the muffin and brownie mixes (4.99 each) bars (1.99 each) endulge (1.67 each) and atkins bake mix (9.99) and in the freezer atking bread (5.99) and atkins bagels (5.99) oh and they have the carb concious bread at the everyday price of 1.98 each

now here is the good thing in the freezer they have Bryer's low carb ice cream in a 2 litre tub for 5.99 each they had chocolate and vanilla I got the chocolate and it was really good the ice cream is 4g of carbs a cup.
they also had bryers lowcarb ice cream sandwiches and ice cream bars for 4.99 each for 6 they are 5g of carbs each I bought the sandwiches they were ok kind of small and not that great the ice cream bars looked normal size i'm gonna pick some up next time.

p.s. Just a tip if you buy the chocolate ice cream stick your bowl in the microwave for 14seconds and mix it up it tastes just like a malt.

Hey, I guess I should have read down the page more before I went into the info on LC Ice Cream in Pt. Bob. I will have to check out this store in Ladner. Thanks for the good info.

So is that the regular Breyer's No Sugar Added icecream with aspartame or the new Breyer's CarbSmart icecream with sucralose (Splenda)?

Just went to the store yesterday. It is the new CarbSmart Icecream. The packaging was in English and French, so I wonder if this product is now going to be widely available in Canada? They had a lot of it in stock.

It is also available at Lowcarb solutions, they want $9.99, and I know they just jump across the border and bring it up. Not sure where Budget foods is getting it from.

Your right, I am sure they just pop across to Pt. Roberts to buy the Carb Smart ice cream and then sell it for 9.99 each. Last week Marketplace in Pt. Bob was selling it 2 for $7.00. Worth the quick trip down. :)
