Anyone catch the View today? Something how the food guy touting 6 weeks to a healthy life is sure talking similar to Atkins without ever mentioning low carb or Atkins. I guess it makes it easier to swallow for bashers:

Protein in the morning-preferably every meal.
Plenty of Omega 3's
Avoid the white menance
(brown rice and beans ok for him)
low sugar fruits
colorful, high fiber, nutrient dense vegetables.
Healthy fats.

Sound familiar anyone? Barbara seemed to like it - luckily Joy wasn't in the segment to disagree per usual.

Joy is a paid spokesperson for Jenny Craig. It's her job to disagree...

BTW -- i fwded a link to that last thread about The View that was on here to a friend of mine who writes for the show... she got a real kick out of it!

No kidding! I did talk to her about LCing and Joy... apparently, Joy DID do it according to the rules, but then something went wrong I guess... either fell off the wagon or stopped for other reasons. Could be because of Jenny Craig. I guess her opinion is just that it works for some people but isn't a realistic lifestyle.

I drove by a jenny creig today. There was a 6 foot tall picture of a smiling Joy!!!!!!!
