Top 2 Sweet Treats????
Hey All!
I have not had much luck finding LC desserts that I'm satisfied with on my own. :( I thought I'd come and ask you all for your TOP 2 Most Favoritest of Favorites LC Sweet Treats! I'm interested in yummy things other than "candy" And please! It would help me out a great deal if you could either post the recipe or let me know where I can find the recipe-- OR if it is a mix or prepackaged product, where I can purchase it. Thank you SOOOO MUCH! Peace, Star |

Marlaine, I tried your version of cheesecake this weekend! Oh my God!!! It's heavenly :yum: . I made it twice and will certainly make more. It fulfills my cravings for sweets... Thank you for sharing this with us :D

Marlaine, your cheesecake recipe was so good! It hit the spot and was so easy!
Thanks! |

Since I am not such a good baker, my favorite sweet treats are a to die for store bought low carb cheesecake (made with Splenda) and secondly, fresh cantaloupe.

mmm... just two? ;)
My favorite right now are the cinnamon and sugar pork rinds found in this forum. I melt butter and add splenda. I don't add as much cinnamon as others but I do add a little then throw in the pork rinds. My second is my homemade swirly ice cream type thing. I take an unsweetened chocolate square and melt it. Mix in a little butter and splenda to taste. Then I take a tub of Cool Whip, and swirl the chocolate mixture throughout. Sometimes I add a small amount of peanut butter swirled through as well. Then I freeze the tub. I don't eat a whole lot of it at a time. But it is as close to Ben and Jerry's as I could get without cheating. ;) p.s. The peanut butter cup recipe found in this forum also are a close third!!! :) |

I think this is what they are talking about: My own concoction of 3 oz cream cheese, 1tsp unsweetened cocoa powder and 1 tsp Splenda. Smoosh together with a fork and eat with a spoon or chill and roll into balls to eat. Marlaine But the Jello cheesecake is good too - I make it often. |
