Deep Fried Kale

Has anyone ever tried the deep-fried kale recipe on the Atkins site? I tried to do it tonight, but no deep fryer here. I think I burnt it, as it turned out sorta brownish... Just wondering if anyone has had success with it?

No, but I've grilled it and pan seared it. Vij's in Vancouver makes great grilled kale that is first dipped in coconut milk and lime. That's where I got the idea from. :idea:
