Hi Gabrielle,
I'm in Roanoke and I just started doing Atkins. I've got lots of LC recipe books and resources. I'm having a blast cooking up (and eating) new stuff. Write if you want and I'll be happy to trade recipes, meal plans, and whatnots.
Have a good one,
snosberry :)

Hello Gabrielle & Snosberry. I am in Salem and started my third week on the CAD plan yesterday.

I can't say enough good things about it. Like most people I have tried everything to lose weight and been very successful at it some of the time. Cad, however is the absolutely easiest plan I have ever tried. I have yet to feel like I am on a diet!

As of this morning I had a 8.5 lb's loss. I see your both on Adkins. It's nice to know that there isn't just "one" path to take us all to goal, isn't it? Might get too crowded if there was only one. I have tried Adkins in the past and stopped losing after 2 weeks both times I was on it...plus, I started to crave a carb so much I could have hurt someone for a bagel, :p so I think the CAD is a better low carb plan for me.

I wish you both huge success at this losing weight thing...stay in touch. I want to hear about when you lose so I can cheer you on.

Roanoke/Salem, Virginia

Hi,

I'm from Roanoke, Va and work in Salem, Va. I have been doing Atkins since 2-28-03. I have lost 12-13 pounds. I did CAD several years ago and lost 14 pounds until I started letting the one hour meal turn into a one hour binge. I am really glad that others can benefit from it though. Just thought I would say I to any other S.W. Virginians on this site. Thanks!
