2 Week KISS Challenge

Hi all,

I want to lose at least 6 pounds or hopefully more in two weeks. My goal by Easter. I would like anyone interested in a KISS challenge to join me. If you aren't aware of what KISS is I've posted a link below.

Come on gang!! Lets KISS!!

Since I'm already doing this anyways, I think I shall join you! It will give me all the more reason to make sure I DON'T stray from my path. And I have to say, eating this way has made my weight loss soar and made me feel SO good... but you never know when the evil self sabotage monster can come and bite you.

So count me in!

Count me in!!!

This is my first challenge... well besides entering into this WOE, anyhow.

I need something REALLY structured and disciplined to get my butt in gear. :)

BTW.. I'm Heather. I'm also a nurse. And a mom of 3 and a full time student. Whew...:)

Hi Heather,

So nice to meet you. We sure do have a lot in common. A nurse, three kids. I don't know if I could go back to school though. I'm glad you decided to join us. I am ready this morning. I'll post tonight and let you know how things went for the day. Hope you do the same.

I think I'm going to join too!

Cheese and bacon are going to be hard to cut out, especially the cheese :(

But then again, I think that cheese isn't so good for me because I think I might have a yeast problem...

I want to join you all too! I'm not sure if I can resist bacon for 2 weeks, but I will try my hardest. I need to get 10 or so extra pounds off by mid-April anyways, so hopefully this KISS stuff works.

When do we start? :)

I've already started this morning. I cut out my coffee and gawd does my head hurt. I just took 800 mg ibuprofen. I went to Costco (warehouse store) and was looking around. It seems like the only thing I could eat was meat and veggies. I thought to myself, "Can I do this for 2 weeks". It might be harder than I thought. I plan on keeping on!! I'll keep you all posted

The day went okay. I'm still alive and feeling satisfied! I posted my menu in my journel. Got rid of my headache and feel pretty good right now. We will see if I have a loss after the first day. I hope so!!

OK. Well.. I started this morning. Breakfast was.. actually, not a good start because I didn't have breakfast. Lunch was a fried cube steak and 3/4 C of cucumber. Supper: 5-6 oz pork roast and 1 C. green beans seasoned with salt, pepper, & garlic.

I feel pretty good today, but then again, I didn't really have the carb withdrawl headaches that everyone else has complained about. I spent one day (at work no less) in misery with a terrible migraine, but other than that I have been fine.

I am working at my part time job right now. I supervise nursing assistants in this huge beautiful assisted living facility. Needless to say, I am bored with paperwork and am taking a bit of a break. On average I have maybe 2 hours of work out of 8 hours a night here. It sucks but the pay is super and its 5 minutes from home. The drawback? It's 215A and my family is home in bed while I am here.

OH well... Happy KISSing today everyone!!!!!!! I will post my stats tomorrow :)
