Anyone tried Keto New Hot Oatmeal Cereal

Has anysone tried Keto New Hot Oatmeal Cereal. They just came out. Does it taste like oatmeal? Effective Carbs are 3. Sounds good.

I've tried the Strawberry Creme flavor, I loved it! I have also tried the Carbsense hot cereals, and the Keto Hot Cereal tasted much, much better. I'm gonna try Apple Cinamon next.

I tried the traditional oatmeal, also very very nice, creamy flavour.

Thumbs down for me

I have the Strawberries and Creme and didn't like it very much. I added heavy cream and it was palatable, but didn't taste like regular oatmeal at all. Seemed a bit stale tasting. Maybe next time I'll add a packet of Splenda. At least the cereal's only 3 carbs so cream and splenda additions don't pump it up that much. Now that I've read that others like it, I'll have to give it another shot to be fair.

I tried the Apple Cinnamon and found it to be quite tasty. I think it might be better if it were cooked like regular oatmeal instead of making it like instant and letting it sit for 7-8 minutes like the directions say.

Lisa N,
This might sound like a stupid question, but how do you make regular oatmeal? Not instant and letting it sit for 7-8 minutes?

LilRobT...

You've never made old-fashioned rolled oats on top of the stove? Wow! I guess I'm showing my age here! ;)
You put it in a pan on the stove with the water, bring it to a boil and cook it until it's as thick as you'd like it. If you can boil water, you can cook oatmeal the old-fashioned way. :)

I tried it....It is really bad

Got my shipment. This product tastes nothing like Oatmeat. Don't waste your money.

I am an oatmeal person.......so I thought this would be a great alternative......

Yuck.........the smell alone made me almost want to lose it!!

I bought the strawberries and cream after reading here that it was tasty, it was digusting. I had to throw what I made away, the cat wouldn't eat it either (he seems to like flax meal and oatmeal  ) So, I stick to flax-o-meal or make my own flax cereal now.
