To all you worry worts

I'm sorry if this thread seems silly, but I just have to get this off my chest. One liter of water weighs 2.2 lbs, so therefore if you have recently drank a whole bunch of water and then find you weigh more than you did yesturday, it could be why. I can easily drink 1 liter in a single sitting so my scale goes a tad up and down. I hope that helps anybody who worries about a couple of pounds difference from time to time. I know I've seen a few threads were people think they've put on weight when they may have not at all.
Peace Out,
Greg

LOL....I am not THAT paranoid! :) I think everyone can fluctuate 5 pounds in a day....

That is one of the reasons I put my scale away for a week. I was weighting myself several times a day and it would just up and down 5-10 lbs!!! I was obsesing!!!

Thanks for telling us how much water weights!!!! That knowledge does help. I drink several large glasses a day!!!

Not silly at all. I woke up one morning, weighed myself, and took a massive leak (anyone remember an Adam Sandler comedy tape, has a skit called the longest pee on it? :p ). I reweighed myself and was 2 lbs less (probably more like 1.6 and the scale rounded up).

Guess you can see where the weight obsessed would use diuretics simply to make their numbers look better. I've heard of wrestlers and boxers doing such things to drop into the upper level of a weight class.
