Rachel here. Rachel sleepy. Still can type though. All ten fingers. Instinct.

Clock went back an hour - me sleepy this morning! Me have to go to work soon. Buses on strike! Too far to walk! How me get to work? Get ride. But hard to get ride! People live in North Van, could give me ride, but bridge closed! No come by my house! Who give me ride?

OK. Yesterday Anne say she give me ride. Today drive to UBC with Anne. How I get work tomorrow? Don't know. Figure out later. Maybe they fix bridge today.

Building will be locked. How I know? Went to work yesterday. Other people in the room! Work room booked! No one tell us! Big conference there! Lots of coffee, donut, cookie on table in hall! Me tempted, but don't eat. Had to find other room.

Today have to work in locked building. Oh no! How we get in? Supposed to go in through basement. Building big maze! Me fail all my maze tests! Never get banana!Me will get lost! Maybe Anne will find room.

Me waking up now. Low carb coffee good. Me need to pack lunch. Where my low carb banana?

No can find low carb banana. Need more coffee.

Rachel,

Go back to bed! When you wake up, everything will be fine. It's just a bad dream. ;)

Happy April Fools, Transit Strike (Vancouver Only) and Time Change!

Karen

Rachel, you're in BIG trouble

Hate to break it to you, but the clocks went AHEAD an hour.

I harken back to the many years I worked 12 hour shifts, and invariably, the spring night where we lost the hour's sleep fell during a long stretch of days, where we had to return all the sooner for more punishment (and more than once, Doreen would get the phone call, "Did you forget to set your clock?? You're LATE)....

Oh well, I appreciate that it will still be light out at 7 tonight. Lots of spring birds returning, and the odd daffodil trying to poke up through the snow. By golly, spring might just happen after all!

Have a great day RACHEL, and everyone!

Doreen
