Hi Renee

Glad you liked that cheese. I love double Gloucester and eat that alot. Was it white stilton or the blue veined stuff. I love white stilton with apricots, mind you, not as much as Wensleydale with apricots, but that is much more difficult to get hold of.

One of my favs too :) - as is the White stilton with apricots. Marks & Spencer also do a Double Gloucester with a cheddar and chive centre

Trying cooking a steak, then melting the Double Gloucester and Stilton on top - or just stilton - gorgeous :yum:

Mmmm. Demi that sounds a lot like the bleu cheese on top of my hamburger....or hamburger *stuffed* with bleu...mmmmm.

This Double Gloucester had two veins of the blue Stilton running through.

Coincidentally I saw an article on TV about what constitutes Stilton (the blue kind) and it has particular bacteria and culture in it that is required for it to be certified. Kewl.

They also stated even with these strict quality controls in place that Stilton can have different flavor from batch to batch :)

Is it weird to have cheese for breakfast?? Cause now I am hungry.....

Oh! The Stilton has apricots IN it?? I get it...I just thought you meant serving it with apricots....Mmmmmm.

Thanks for telling me about it.

I found some Derby w/Sage. But I think the Derby w/Elderberry was the best...and I still want to find some with ginger :)
