salmon ideas?

Before I 'made the change,' I used to make a sauce for my grilled salmon that consisted of plain yogurt, cucumber, mayo, and horseradish. I really loved this dish, and I want to find some way to make something like it. I thought that sour cream might work, but it's not really the right consistency. Any thoughts on this?

OR

how do you prepare your salmon? We really like to grill it at our house! :rheart:

Hi there Slack32,

First of all, I think a sauce made from sour cream, cucumber, mayp and horseradish sounds wonderful! Have you tried it?

As for salmon recipes, Jude posted this link last year that should help: http://forum.lowcarber.org/showthre...ipes#post508253

I did a quick search of recipes here and found the following:

That should give you a bit of reading. Hope it helps!

Thanks for the info! We had salmon last night with parm cheese and cream- baked in the oven, and it was great. I had read that fish idea in this forum a few days ago- yum yum! Thanks for your help Rosebud!

I'm sure your salmon is long gone by now, but salmon is my all time favorite dinner! I usually smear it with spicy brown mustard all over and broil both sides until the outside is browned and a little crispy and the salmon is done through. OMG...it is SO good!!! It is even better the next day. I often eat it cold. Now...if only they had coupons for salmon, because $20.00 for 4 filets really puts a bite in my budget :)
