Healthfood Stores in Montreal
I've just moved here for the summer and so far have not been able to find much at all. I can only find Atkins bars in nutty flavours and no ready to drink shakes. I heard health tree in St. Jean Blvd was good, but do not know how to get there by metro or bus from the city centre. Are there any other places to get low carb stuff?
Help! |
How about GNC - found in most malls. And any health food store. And my local grocery stores are carrying Aktins products. I LOVE the Coconut bars but can't take the laxative effect of the sugar alcohols so they are a RARE experienc when I take lots of fibre.
Montreal is a great city. You'll catch onto the transit system soon. In the meantime, try "real' food - meat, eggs, cheese, veggies and salad. |
Yeah, cant find GNC here in various malls Ive been in. Off to try and locate several healhtfood places I've heard about today.
The metro system is easy yep but I just don't know what stops to get off for the stores. |
Call them first and ask for 1. directions to get there and 2. if they have the stuff you want. Have fun.

Directions to GNC in Montreal
Hi there,
I'm from Montreal and know my way around pretty well so... Downtown Montreal: looks like this one is closed. It's on the GNC website but not on the Eaton Center's one nor listed with canada411.ca Eaton Building: University & Maisonneuve (514) 496-9816 McGill metro towards Eaton Center East end: Place Versailles: 7275 Sherbrooke st. E, Montreal (514) 353-8080 Radisson metro (green line, go east until the before last station) West end: Carrefour Angrignon: 7077 Newman Boulevard, LaSalle (514) 368-9717 Angrignon metro (green line, last one to the west. You'll need to take a bus (106) or you can walk it. It's about a 15-minute walk) Hope this helps! Charlaine |
