Gazelle
 

Has anyone here tried the Gazelle? I've heard it is so easy..and really works! I'd like some feedback before I invest in something that will be sitting next to my treadmill collecting dust if I don't like it.

I have a gazelle freestyle, which I ordered from a late night informercial on tv. I like it. There are several levels. I guess the first one is level 0. I am now on the next level which I suppose is level 1. I use it for 30 minutes at a time and really work up a sweat and get my heart rate up to 110-120. I use it on the days I am not sweating it off mowing my 1 acre yard with my push mower. I know I will use it more when the grass stops growing this fall. It is slowing down already. I think it was a good investment. I have used it more than other things I have invested in. When I first started using it I was sore all over, so as they say, I guess it is a full body workout. I like that It has a bunch of levels, so I have a long way to go to get to the top level and probably won't ever get there. Do you know when you order if you keep holding out they will offer you a reconditioned one for about $100 less. It is actually new, but one that was sent back by someone, I think. I hope this is helpful.

Hi Mary! Thanks so much for the info. I have been looking on Ebay and it gets confusing because some of them are over $200.00..and others are going for under $100.00. I don't know what is the difference in them. I talked to someone recently that really toned up with using one..and she swears it is the easiest excercizing she has ever done. ( she is 64 yrs young)

I don't watch the infomercials..not sure when they come on here. I will check out the gazelle website & try to get a handle on what the prices are and what the difference is in them.

E-bay may be a better way to go price-wise. I think mine was $300, down from $400. But I don't know what model they are offering on E-bay. The one I got has an electronic readout of calories burned, speed, distance, time, pulse rate, etc. Good luck in your search.

It's really easy. You can go as slow or fast as you want.

I have one as well and love it. I actually use it unlike my treadmill.

BUT I do strongly suggest if you buy one get the one that you can change the level of workout. I didn't, I bought the $100 one and now wish I hadn't. I don't feel like I'm going to be able to always use it, eventually It won't give me a good enough work out.

PS Go to Walmart, or Kmart and look at them. They might not be the best price out there but that way you can see what is available. I believe you can even see them online if you go to their websites.
